Hey everyone, I'm gonna tell you some of festivals here in Sweden.
Uppcon is Scandinavia's largest event for the East Asian popular culture, the events organized by the nonprofit association Uppsalakai that since it was founded in 2001, has arranged eight UppCon and no less then 3000 to 3500 views annually. From 9-11 April ( usually for three days ) they open for the people to have fun and enjoy.
During UppCon a lot of competitions and activities take place, such as: cosplay, skit, anime and video game competitions as an example. There is also invited Japanese music bands that plays live on stage. Participating in UppCon also usually find on their own activities and games to entertain themselves.
Uppsalakai sell imported goods from Japan, such as manga, anime, figures, dolls, clothes and candy such as Pocky.
