I always liked the chocobos in FF4 because they wiggle so funny when u ride 'em. The Chocobo Stable in FF7 is a great peaceful place as well!! I also enjoyed my share of Treasure Digging in Final Fantasy 9! Chocobo Lagoon was an amazing place to dig imo I think the game with the best Chocobos is Final Fantasy VII because it had Fat Chocobo in nice graphics haha

I liked the Final fantasy II chocobo, because 1) it was the original chocobo 2) One could go almost anywhere on the world map without any chance of getting into a random battle.  It was good to get to places that would advance the story after I had leveled up my characters to the extent that I might yank my hair out if I went into another random battle. 
+Sorry, but I couldn't find any pictures of any Final fantasy II chocobos, I'll take a picture of my own when I get my digital camera back!

Yup, I'd vote for FFIX's chocobos. They fly, run up cliffs and mountains, walk across oceans, etc.

FFX's chocobos were so retarded that you had to train them to ride (at Calm lands, that is), and that really annoyed me at times x_x. FFX-2 had no real interactive things with chocobos. FFXII's chocobos could only sprint for a while until it just walks. Not to mention, FFX-2 and FFXII's chocobos are EVIL and WANT to kill you. Ohh... nightmares of accidentally spawning the Lv99 red chocobo...
