Final Fantasy XIII-2 Composers
Squareenix France has revealed 3 Final Fantasy 13-2′s composer: “Today we are announcing at Japan Expo (last month) composers of Final Fantasy XIII-2. Masashi Hamauzu and Mitsuto Suzuki return to compose the sequel from Final Fantasy XIII, and Naoshi Mizuta, who’s known for Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light, joins them as a new addition.”
3rd Birthday Soundtrack
Sekito revealed that his participation involved work on battle background music. Suzuki said that the music on the soundtrack has been reedited to include sections of the music that were cut from the game due to memory issues… Shimomura feels the Aya character has the image of piano. Not a mellow piano theme, though.
The 4 Hereos of Light
Suzuki worked on Masashi Hamauzu’s score for Final Fantasy XIII and did the arrangement for Dissidia on the PSP. He also produced his own full-length album, “In My Own Backyard,” which was released in October 2007. Not as well know as the other members of Square’s musical team his electronic and rock remixes on several of Square none soundtrack CD’s have become favorites.
