Type-0 Soundtrack

The status of a North American release for Final Fantasy Type-0 is still unclear. Over in Japan, not only will gamers be getting it on October 27, they’ll also have a collector’s edition to consider purchasing.  Two versions of the soundtrack will be released on October 12.

Chrono Trigger Movie

In 2009 we put together this video for the TV stream we have here at the radio for the anniversary of Chrono Trigger. It is the full musical score that was done by Ocremix and their talented people set to video clips of the corresponding parts of the game. Before each video is the remixers name and their notes in making that track. Ocremix did a great job on this online CD and it is free for download from there site.

All Sounds SaGa

Now that the SaGa series has reached number 3, a complete music compilation is being released. I was the sole composer of the first game, while on the second game, I collaborated with Kenji Ito, who had just entered Square.

FFIV & The After Years Sounds Plus

Beyond just offering a few tracks from the game, the disc contains all of the music Junya Nakano wrote for The After Years along with selections from the original soundtrack, and even a few bonuses. Oh, and of course there’s Masashi Hamauzu’s arrangement of the opening theme.
