Tokyo Game Show 2010
The Tokyo Game Show is presented by the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA) and the Nikkei Business Publications, Inc. every year. It is used by many international video game developers to show off their upcoming games and game-related hardware, though the main focus is on the Japanese market rather than overseas. This year 138 companies and organizations have registered to exhibit at the over a four-day period from Thursday September 16 to Sunday September 19, 2010 at Makuhari Messe in Mihama-ku, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture. The first days are special Business days, during which the Asia Game Business Summit will be held and last day will be an open public day. The official website for the TGS 2010 is now open with up to date news.
There is new booth this year according to the outline for the show.
This area will exhibit home-use and arcade video games, game-related goods and services targeting children. From this year, there will be no limit on the number of game machines to be exhibited. The area will be opened to a wider range of exhibitors, also allowing sales of game-related goods targeting children at the booths. The aim is to make the area more enjoyable for families with children.

Parasite Eve News
Parasite Eve: The 3rd Birthday is back with many new images posted on the Japanese magazine Famitsu. The set includes some screenshots from the game trailers and some other in-game cutscenes . Enjoy the development team’s work :
There will be two visualizing modes in the game : an ‘automatic mode’, which automatically selects the enemy, and a ‘manual mode’, which means that you don’t just have to pull the trigger but put more focus to capture the right spot. The grenades and other weapons of this kind will be available in manual mode.
As for characters description, Famitsu magazine has presented some of them starting with Hyde Borth a member of the community who started the Overdrive company, his role is more like an intermediary between the men on the battlefield and his superiors, as for Cray Thelonious, another member of the Overdrive he seems like filling the Mentor role for Aya. As we have seen in Gamescom trailer, the main enemies are called the Twisted, they can have many forms:
- Wad: a thin sort of twisted
- Slacker: a disguised twisted in a human shape
- Reaper: a twisted that can change his forms and mutate
The Famitsu magazine has also discussed Aya Brea’s ring, we can’t tell yet if she’s still married, if the ring is related to her loss of memory and her past.
The 3rd Birthday is still to be released in the end of this year in Japan. No precise informations were provided yet. But stay connected for more news to come with the Tokyo Game Show that will be held later on this September!
