The conference is to be held on January 18th at the Toho Cinemas in Roppongi Hills, and will be held twice during the day from 6 – 7:30 PM and 8 – 9:30 PM. Square Enix have already confirmed the announcement of new games at the conference in the past.You might be wondering what the 1st Production Department is. It’s the group within Square Enix responsible for developing the mainline Final Fantasy games as well as the Kingdom Hearts franchise. However, Kingdom Hearts 3D could be exempt from the conference on account of actual development taking place at Square’s Osaka division, which also worked on Birth by Sleep.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is a Sequel Game to Final Fantasy XIII and is based on it’s story. Square Enix is developing the game simultaneously on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and it will probably be released Winter this year from what we know until now.

Following the party scene, we see a man sitting in a seat that looks like a throne. Famitsu.com reports that this man is Noctics’ father and the current King. This man says something to the effect of, “Unfortunately, you cannot become King. I will not give the thrown to anyone. My name will go down in history as the final King.”
We were promised gameplay for this trailer, and that’s just what we get after the party scene. The camera does a flyby through the city, ending up back in the party hall, and behind Noctis’ back. It looks like the player has taken control here, leading Noctis through the party hall as soldiers break through the windows.
Final Fantasy XIII Versus Details at Forums
Final Fantasy Type-0 (Agito) is a video game for PlayStation Portable which, alongside Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2, and Final Fantasy Versus XIII, makes up the compilation Fabula Nova Crystallis: Final Fantasy. Unveiled at E3 ’06, the game players easy on-the-go access to the Final Fantasy XIII universe”. The game was originally announced for mobile phones, but was re-announced for the PSP at DKΣ3713 2008.
As the ultimate FINAL FANTASY fighting experience, all of the characters from DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY return in DISSIDIA 012[duodecim], to deliver character matchups that fans have always dreamed of. Newly joining the battle between Cosmos and Chaos are Lightning, Kain and Tifa, each with completely new abilities and customization options for a more strategic combat system. The unique gameplay, which combines action-packed fighting and RPG-based character development, is enhanced with a command-based mode so that true FINAL FANTASY-style combat can be enjoyed through simple commands.

As revealed at last week’s 1st Production Department Premier event, the 3DS title is fully named “Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.” Square Enix showed a new trailer for the game at the event (an official online version is coming later today) and also had co-director Yasushi Yasue take the stage for a few comments.
