Tokyo Game Show 2010

The Tokyo Game Show is  presented by the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA) and the Nikkei Business Publications, Inc. every year. It is used by many international video game developers to show off their upcoming games and game-related hardware, though the main focus is on the Japanese market rather than overseas. This year 138 companies and organizations have registered to exhibit at the over a four-day period from Thursday September 16 to Sunday September 19, 2010 at Makuhari Messe in Mihama-ku, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture.  The first days are special Business days, during which the Asia Game Business Summit will be held and last day will be an open public day. The official website for the TGS 2010 is now open with up to date news.

There is new booth this year according to the outline for the show.

This area will exhibit home-use and arcade video games, game-related goods and services targeting children. From this year, there will be no limit on the number of game machines to be exhibited. The area will be opened to a wider range of exhibitors, also allowing sales of game-related goods targeting children at the booths. The aim is to make the area more enjoyable for families with children.
