The Tokyo Game Show has provided the fans with some new footages from Dissidia 012: Duodecim. A demo version was played during the show on the open public day, displaying the new changes on this sequel’s gameplay.

The first notable change is the option that enables you to call reinforcements during combat; you can call your allies! During a short lapse of time, you’ll have the ability to call a person of your choice to come and assist you! .The effects differ if you use it with your gauge filled, to half, or full.
As you all may have noticed, some new characters will be available; Lightning and Kain are the only characters revealed for now. Just like the in-game moves in Final Fantasy XIII, Lightning may at any time change strategy and juggle the roles of Attacker, healer, etc .Paradigm Shift! Of course, these attacks and abilities will be different depending on the role chosen.
Now get ready for the real news; guess who will be in the Dissidia 012 too? Yessss! It’s TIFA; according to the first video trailer that aired during the Tokyo Game Show,Tifa (Final Fantasy VII) is confirmed as one of the new characters.

Duodecim Dissidia: Final Fantasy will be available in Spring 2011 in Japan. No announcements about the Western release have been made.
