Susan Calloway is an American Singer/Songwriter from Detroit, MI, singing Pop/Rock style music. She was first known for the early tracks she recorded in solo mode on the hit WB/CW shows “Dawson’s Creek”, “Summerland” and “One Tree Hill”.
After high school, she formed a rock band called Red C who performed during many shows and made handful scores winning about 12 Detroit awards before they break up in th early 90′s.

With her new single “Chasin The Sun” from her first EP she recorded this year, she’s listed on Top 40 and heard on hot AC Stations across the Country.

As a message to her fans she talks about her passion for music and the message it carries within it:

“I want my music to contribute to the world in a spiritual, personal way… to help people look at their lives with hope and possibility, no matter what. I want my music to comfort and inspire people … to encourage them to run hard at their dreams and goals. It’s too easy to be mediocre . . . Fusing my life and music to create great lasting art . . that’s what it’s all about for me.”

Susan Calloway has already made several appearances in the past couple of years at the Distant Worlds tour. She actually can be heard on the Distant Worlds II albums singing Suteki Da Ne, in a beautiful english interpretation of the original japanese song, previously performed by Rikki. She also performed theDistant Worlds~Memoro De la Stona song, the authentic FFXI main theme, Square Enix’s first MMO.

Her unique voice has already captured the audience and especially Sir Nobuo Uematsu’s attention, and today she’s officially singing Final Fantasy XIV’s main theme Answers. A harmonized chorus and vocalist performance with a gentle gothic rock touch that you may enjoy listening to it on FFXIV’s new prerelease trailer.
