FINAL FANTASY IV & THE AFTER YEARS Sounds Plus
From there we get the 11 tracks that were composed specifically for The After Years. I hadn’t realized that Nakano had written so many original pieces, as I was mainly familiar with the first two. “Mysterious Girl ~minus~” is a foreboding piece with descending belltones and deep pad swells that effectively create a foreign and dangerous atmosphere.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 Soundtrack
Masashi Hamauzu focused on tracks associated with Lightning and aspects from Final Fantasy XIII, Naoshi Mizuta composed music connected to Noel, and Mitsuto Suzuki contributed modern and techno pop music to the soundtrack. The limited edition version of the soundtrack contains 4 CDs and a DVD. What is assumed to be the standard version of the 4-disc soundtrack is also included in the European (Crystal Edition) and North American collector’s editions of Final Fantasy XIII-2. The “Limited Collector’s Edition” of Final Fantasy XIII-2 in Europe will also contain a composer selected soundtrack CD.

IMERUAT Masashi Hamauzu
Imeruat co-founders Masashi Hamauzu and Mina met in 2007 at a mutual friend’s exhibit of woodblock prints. In recent years Mina has organized live music performances drawing on the culture of Japan’s indigenous Ainu people. The project presents unique cross-overs of worldwide musical styles and genres. IMERUAT will debut with live performances in Kraków, Poland and Paris, France in May of 2011.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 Composers
Squareenix France has revealed 3 Final Fantasy 13-2′s composer: “Today we are announcing at Japan Expo (last month) composers of Final Fantasy XIII-2. Masashi Hamauzu and Mitsuto Suzuki return to compose the sequel from Final Fantasy XIII, and Naoshi Mizuta, who’s known for Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light, joins them as a new addition.”
