The Man with The Iron Will and the Heart of A Child, in Teb’s Memory
It was with a storming rage and a profound pain that I received the news this morning, about the death of a dear friend, a joyful old companion and a loving father, he played all those roles for me with his own unique personality.
For those who knew Teb, they might already know (since he actually went public with it too) that he fought AIDS for about 25 years now, he kept it quite and never complained about it to others when he was gaming on live or during his unforgettable shows. Instead he always put a smile on others faces, he worked so hard to create a global community dedicated specifically to video games music and gaming, two things he was most passionate about (well, we should add Abba to the list too).
Like some of the other listeners I met Teb for the first time back in 2008, some time after he switched the radio server to his house and took care of the radio, then started building the site for it. The chatroom was nearly empty, if not often visited by some random listeners who just happened to find the site.
Thanks to his devotion and persistence, the site grew up into this wonderful community you now know, he built up the forum, then the TV stations, all while taking care of the radio, the listeners requests and the chatrooms. He made such a good use of his remarquable programming skills, some regarded him as old fashionned or old school, since he was using php still, nevertheless, the results were still amazing, and the radio fans never complained.
Mixing innovative ideas with his distinguished artistic touches and never aging humour, Teb became quite famous on justin.tv and his shows have attracted many admirers.
Along the path, some of the viewers tended to show some resentment towards Tebian, I think they now are aware of the reasons behind his moody statements that often come between the lines, it was never easy to manage, all while he was suffering from the disease. I hope you can be inspired by Teb’s strong will, the way he defied all odds and surrounded himself by all his favourite things.
Your Memory shall always be revived with joy and laughter Teb, just as you have always been.
To you Teb, thank you for the music, thank you for welcoming me into your world.

Some other comments were written by our friends, and got lost for some reason:
Konso:
Thank you Enti, it is a wonderful story and a beautiful picture. It make me shed a tear again.
Exirias:
I will think of you when I listen to the FFradio and I will always remember your awesome online shows, Tebian. Especially the one where you completed FFXIII and sang the ending song. May you rest in peace.
Sixty:
I knew he was fighting AIDS, but i didn’t think he would die this young. Rest in peace Tebian, i will never forget you. You helped me appreciate the music of games more. I only wished that i came by more often on the chat
SuperSahama:
Very nice story Enti. Everything is said. May you rest in peace Tebian.
Very good tribute Enti, will always remember Teb and the worldly advice he gave over the months I knew him, a very learned man with a big heart for VGM. Sad to see him go.
Thank you Yuzoboy, he was surely a very experienced man, and his advice nor his humor would ever age a day.
Really wel spoken Enti. I still remember those good old days when I, just like you, found the IRC chatroom around 2008. It was the time when we would just hang out in the chat doing nothing but having nice talks while listening to the music on the radio. Singing on along out loud whenever we got him to play SHUBA DA SEA.
Then finally we managed to get him to start a live stream on Ustream, even if it was just a still image of his radio program software we still celebrated the small step we managed to make. It didn’t took long before he would finally start talking on the show as well. Getting tired of the still image we filled up the screen with movies or live gameplay from other people, but always with the radio itself on the background.
I even remember the fun we had trying to set up the quiz bot. With a failed attempt we managed to lock ourself out of the chatroom on Ustream, forcing ourselves to set up a new page. Eventually we managed to set up a local quiz bot that worked inside my IRC program and after having came up with roughly 50 questions we where able to play the quiz whenever I was there. I don’t know how many questions there are now, but when I told Tebian how to set it up there where till only a 100 question.
Then roughly 2 years after having found the radio I started loosing my interest with the radio itself. My own music collection had gained a rapid growth and the radio itself started playing more and more non final fantasy related songs. Together with the work on my own website the contact with the radio, Tebian and the people I used to spend my days with like Enti faded away.
Faded away but never forgotten. I come here to pay my respect to the Radio and above al a man, who despite I haven’t talked to in 2 years, I still consider a good Friend.
Tebian may you find peace in the next life and those who take over the radio I wish you good luck as well.

It is so good to see you again Da_Cloud, and I do remember all those details so well. Teb spoiled us, by putting that song we kept requesting (mostly me :P, I loved mamboing!), first the chocobo mambo, kweh kweh, then the Shuba Da sea! the very first ustream attempt and the golden fishes swimming on the screen. That was so hilarious. As for the evil bot that locked our chat room, that was Shaz’s doing!
We had such great times, he brought so many people from different places around the globe all together.
I still remember the songs good yea. Shuba Da Sea, Mambo the Chocobo even Get Happy, though Tebian never really wanted to play that last one :P
And Shaz always wanted The Red Wings, the arranged version from EXCELSIA it was :D
Hope you guys can find a way to keep the radio and community running. Wouldn’t want it all to go to a waste now that Tebian is gone.
Very nice tribute Enti. I think we all lerned a lot from Teb and I know he will always be remembered by the people who him.
