Those playing Final Fantasy XIII-2 will hear the voice of Charice as they navigate the new game. Finally we have live video of her on stage preforming, if not a bit wet though.

Charice’s second track from her Infinity album has been chosen as the theme song of Final Fantasy XIII-2.  Titled “New World,” part of the lyrics go: “Baby I’m gonna see the new world / With nothing but the love you gave me.” This song was written by Koichi Tabo of Superfly for Charice’s Japan exclusive album.

Yakusoku no Basho, which translates to “Place of Promise”.  The Limited Edition single will has a code that will unlock a bonus item within the game. The English version will only be in Japan on the Xbox version.

The “Yasusoku no Basho/New World” theme song was performed by Mai Fukui in Japanese while the English version was performed by Filipino singer Charice.
